Harrie's Commissions Info & Status
Slots :: 4/10 Waiting
  • Noll :: Inking in Progress

  • Laura :: First payment paid, starting soon

:: 8th October 2024 ::
Things are rather difficult for me at the moment, I apologise for the delays its having on my work. I will do my best to keep working regardless.
Information

Please be aware that I am chronically ill, so if you are interested in commissioning me by filling out the form you will be put onto a waiting list and I will contact you when I am able. I will only be taking on a couple of commissions at a time, and my form will be closed if the list exceeds 10. I will prioritise commissions with clear mockups and references.

My turnaround time from receiving payment depends highly on the complexity of the piece, i.e. simple portraits may be around 1-3 weeks, whereas romance covers might take a month or two. As well, depending on my health, you may be on the wait list for a few months. If I have contacted you to start your commission, you are encouraged to check in with me regularly! I will aim to give you weekly updates, and inform you if there will be any delays.

You can also commission me through VGen if you would prefer.

  1. ACCEPTANCE
  • Client is 18+ and legally able to commit to an agreement or has a legal guardian to make this agreement on their behalf.
  • Agreement date is upon first inquiry/communication or first transaction.

Note: Businesses, agencies, groups and other organizations should contact the Artist to discuss arrangements in more detail.

Basically: you're paying me to draw you something, but you can't make money off of it unless you discuss commercial use with me and purchase the relevant usage rights.

You can use the piece for avatars, banners, post it on your socials, etc. as long as you make sure to credit me with a link to my profile or website. If you would prefer me not to post the commission publicly, please let me know.

Pricing, Payment & Process

The price will vary depending on the complexity of the piece and the designs of the character(s). There is no specific limit on how many characters may be in a piece, but additional characters will not be discounted per se, they will be priced accordingly to their own individual complexity. However, bulk ordering multiple pieces may be discounted depending on how many you order! I will send you a price quote when I contact you from my waitlist.

Payment will be taken through Paypal—I will send you an invoice. At least 50% must be paid upfront in order for me to begin work.

You will fill out the form with the details of your commission request and be placed on my waiting list. I will contact you and give you a week to respond before contacting someone else that I will prioritise should they reply. After three weeks without response I will remove you from my waitlist.

Once payment has been recieved, I will begin work ASAP—expect an update within a week, unless otherwise specified. I will check with you regarding any changes, but please be aware that multiple revisions may incur additional fees.

Generally speaking I will only be accepting two commissions at a time from my waiting list. When you fill out the form, you'll be put onto a waiting list, and I'll contact you to confirm or deny your request when my health allows and there's space free. Thank you for your patience!

Samples & Prices
Animation :: Bust Up Sketches

As these are sketch animations, there may be visible construction lines—the examples show how cleaned up things will be. Make sure to clearly describe the animation you would like me to make. "My character smiling and tilting their head," for example. I will not accept commissions that provide no direction for what you want!

Here is a rough estimate price you can expect:

  • Per Second: £100 per character.

Complex designs with lot of secondary animations—that is, animations that support the primary action, such as swinging earrings—may increase the price, or may be simplified to be more animation friendly.

Romance Cover :: £240 ~ £400+

A parody of 80s pulp romance novel covers, featuring two characters of your choice in a melodramatic pose, with a background, props, and optional typography. Prices given are an estimate, and may vary depending on complexity. These covers are for noncommercial use, commercial pricing begins at £800.

Here are some rough estimate prices you can expect:

  • Lines / Tones: £240 ~ £300
  • Full Colour: £400+

Complexity in this instance refers mostly to the designs of the characters, as the price already assumes a complex piece.

Card :: £180 ~ £270+

A card that's a symbolic representation of your characters' story and motifs, optionally made to fit a specific tarot card, featuring a background, props, and framing elements. Price given is an estimate, and may vary depending on complexity.

Here are some rough estimate prices you can expect:

  • Lines / Tones: £180+
  • Full Colour: £270+

Complexity in this instance refers mostly to the designs of the characters, as the price already assumes a complex piece.

Portrait :: £60 ~ £250+

A portrait/bust of your character. Simple portraits have no background or scene elements, complex portraits do. Complex portraits tend to feature your character with some sort of flora! I can help you decide what would be appropriate if needed, I like flower symbolism :)

Here are some rough estimate prices you can expect:

  • Simple Lines / Tones: £60+
  • Complex Lines / Tones: £160 ~ £200
  • Simple Colour: £70+
  • Complex Colour: £200 ~ £250

Complex pieces in this instance refers to the complexity of the piece rather than the design, however designs do influence the final price (hence the price ranges). Things that contribute to complexity include backgrounds, props, small creatures, etc.

Full or Half Body :: £90 ~ £300+

"Half body" in this case means from above the knees. Scene means it has a complete background, like the romance covers or the card pieces. Can also do reference sheets for existing designs, or create a new design (reference sheet included).

Here are some rough estimate prices you can expect:

  • Lines / Tones: £90+
  • Lines / Tones Scene*: £180+
  • Colour: £120+
  • Colour Scene*: £270+
  • Reference Sheet: £150 ~ £250
  • Design: £300+

* Additional characters are priced individually, but a scene is only counted in the price once. So a Lines & Tones Scene with two characters would be, say, £180 (scene price) + £100 (regular price) (£280)!

: 1

This can be anything—art of your character, a rough sketch or collage of what you'd like me to draw, items of clothing you'd like them to be wearing, etc. The more references, the better! I'm a visual person and struggle to work with text descriptions, so a stick figure drawing of what you have in mind will be more helpful than a description. I prioritise commissions with mockups provided!

Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, GIF. At least one image is required. Paste in the direct image link—if you need an image host, I recommend PostImage, choose Codes for all images > Direct link after uploading. If you have more than 5 images, you can link them below or add them to the further details section.

Could be a google drive, a toyhouse gallery, a pinterest board, etc.

Extra info, links to references, etc., it also helps if you can tell me a little about the character so I can get a feel for how to depict them!

If it's an ink/colour commission, you can also specify whether you're after a complex composition or not.

Doesn't need to be your legal name

Please provide a current email, this is where I will confirm the request.

If you want me to post & @ you the piece, this is handy for me to know!

If you have any issues with the form, you can alternatively email me directly at contactdiosmaden.art. Please ensure that you include answers to the form questions in your email!
